Polished, chrome or ceramic coated valve covers for 2001 Cobra

OK folks - need some opinions and real life observations. I have an opportunity to pick up a set of DOHC valve covers for the Cobra that have been polished for $425. Good price? How hard to maintain? How much to chrome? How about ceramic coated? Lets hear your thoughts.

Well wifessweetstang has a ceramic coated acc. bracket for there cobra, that they bought from ebay, and mepersonaly think it looks crappy! Before you go off on me misha i even told eric that day when i came over! I would go for polished and i dont think they can chrome alum yet? If so then who does it? peace

$425 seems quite steep. I am trying to picture in my mind how difficult they are to remove on the 99~01 cars. I'm pretty sure I have somebody that would be cheaper. Not to difficult to maintain. Just pick yourself up some Hollywoods and it will do the trick.

I bought a set for my wife's 96 on eBay from Accufab for $339 (I think) that were polished. An incredible PITA to install the driver's side, but well worth the work, in my opinion. She gets lots of positive comments on them.
