Did a search and could not find any info on the polished unit from pa performance. Does anyone have a polished alternator from pa performance? If they do, any pics? How is the polishing job? Is the entire unit polished including the front and back?

My alternator died and I do not feel like polishing another one if I can buy one that is nicely polished.

Thanks.

I would save my money, go to the junk yard, and pull one off of a 94+ for like $40-$50. Just my two cents..

I have one and it is well worth the money. It has an excellent polish job on it. It's polished all the way around and looks awesome.

Go to www.pa-performance.com

Yes, the show polished pieces are polished front and back and top and bottom and all over. The very first pic you see on the site shows a great view of the chrome one. The cases are either chromed or polished BEFORE the alt is put together.

Wil -- They also have 3g alts built into 2g cases. With one of these, you won't have to modify anything at all. Just make sure that you get one of their new power wires to handle the juice in case you should ever end up running more powered accessories than stock.

Edit: Hey Darkhorse... how's your post count coming along?

The wiring to put a 94+ 2G in is pretty simple, I just bought an amp wiring kit for the 10 or 12 gauge wire instead of the stock like 14 gauge they run, I just put a O type connector on, seems to work fine. If you need to put an OE back on, just buy a 94+.
