I thought i would like 3'' but i couldn't stand how you could still see where it went from 2.5 to 3''...and i haven't seen a tailpipe set on the market that solves this issue. Right now since i've got 3'' mufflers i'm thinking about getting the Flowmaster 3'' tail pipe kit....then it looks natural. The size isn't the issue to me, it's the transition from 2.5 to 3'' that kills the whole look.


This other coupe i'm trying to get my hands on has a full 3'' MAC exhaust all the way out, and it looks awesome. At a glance you wouldn't even think to yourself that they're big pipes, they just look 'right'.

You wont get as good backpressure with 3.5"

You are 100% right. My tips are 3", prob should have stayed with 2 1/2" because I lost backpressure 52.19384 rwhp to be exact. I will have to go back to the 2 1/2 soon, civic sammy just beat me down main street!! BACKPRESSURE!

honestly I would go with 2.5 or like daggar said and get tips that go up over the axle so you cant see the weld

well duh...you think im gonna put them halfway on...that just looks gay..
