I had a small piece of plastic bag melt on one of my pipes so I figured it would be a good time to pull the cat-back off and clean it up a little more.

Here's how it came out.

And one of the car up in the air.

Very nice job. Shiney.
I know what it's like to have the plastic bag $hit stuck under the car.
I had a plastic bag stuck between my front rotor and wrapped around my caliper on my truck and that was a bad thing. I pulled out melted plastic like forever and it smelled every time I put the brakes on for 6 months. Then had a bag melt to one of my cats on my mustang and that was horrable as well. Thought the smell was gonna stay forever. I don't like plastic bags.

Damn that looks clean, great work & your car looks sick as usual. One of the things many people overlook when washing there stang is the gas tank. Its so visible on our cars that it looks like crap when its not clean. i always clean mine when i wash my car...

I used a wire wheel on my drill to get off the plastic bag. Then I wet-sanded the pipes with 320, 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000. Then I polished it with Mothers Mag Aluminum Polish on a cotton buffing wheel with my drill and followed up with Mothers Billet.
