DropTop has some good points regarding chrome. They ALL will eventually peel. But I still have chrome wheels (one is peeling but they are like 5-6 years old).

Here's an easy way to make your decision. Buy whatever you think looks the best and once you have them on your car, take care of them. Clean em', polish em', and so on.

I have some polished wheels on my car, they are not to hard to clean. They have a nice shine to them, unless you compare them side by side with chrome then they look a little more dull. IMO polished wheels are not any harder to clean than any other wheels, mine look fine with just a little soap and water don't know why everyone complains about hours having to polish them. I like chrome better myself, but got a good deal on the polished!!

Yea, what's the big issue with everyone and polished wheels?

Use a microfiber towel, use some soap detergent and water and wipe it down.. After it dries use some mag or aluminum polish that works just like wax. Apply, wait for it to haze over, and wipe it off..

If you do that every 2-3 weeks, your wheels will always look brand new. About every 1-2 months, pop the wheel off and clean on the inside.

I feel that chrome is way too reflective and the wheels lose most of their depth and detail. The polished wheels only accentuate the rest of the wheels better.
