hey guys i took off my factory foglights to clean them because they were getting really yellow and hazy. I wet sanded them with 1000, then 2000 grit and then buffed them with mothers plastic polish. they turned out really clear and smooth. I want to clean/buff out the inside aswell to get it really clear. So my question is how do i take the lens off? Just pop them off? It seems like theyre sealed on pretty tight. 50resto sells just the lens so i suppose they do come off.
Thanks in advance
Eric

That is one of the best universal tools out there.

Got a stuck brake drum? Get a BFH.
Taking out wheel studs? Get a BFH.
. . . .

LMAO, that was great. But seriously, you can't take the lens off. When 50resto says lens, they mean lens and housing, without the brackets. The whole kit is the brackets too (mainly for V6's). What I did was took some cleaning solution and mixed it with water, poured it in, and shook it around real hard for a few minutes, that broke up most of the crap on the inside of the lens. You might try that, just make sure to used a compressor or something to blow out all the water before putting the bulb back in.
