Did any of you guys polish the inside of your intake? Since it is so cold outside I figured I had plenty of time to work on it. I was just going to use a wire wheel attached to a variable speed drill. Since the intake is aluminum, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. Does anyone have any input on the subject.

I ported and polished the inside of mine and it seemed to help a little...I think. I don't know if it actually helped or I just wanted it to help so I thought it did. It did seem like it opened it up a little in the upper though, but you have to really pay attention.

What did you use to polish it? Did you first install it "as is" and then remove and polish it, or did you polish it from the start?

Oh! my bad. I removed my factory upper and P&P that one, but I just used an aluminum polishing paste.

thanks, where did you get it from? Is it real abrasive, because aluminum is a soft metal and it is doesn't take much to sand it down.

I used a dremel tool to P/P my stock one. I have the wand attatchment so it was easier. I used an actual drill for as much of it as I could. As for polishing just go to home depot or lowes and they have a paste that is made for a high speed drill to polish metal
