I'm thinking about polishing my AFS 03 Cobras but I'm not sure how I should go about doing it! There seems to be a plastic protectant coat over the whole rim but I'm not sure what exactly it is. Anyone have an idea of what it is and how to take it off? Rims shouldnt be hard to polish since they are flat for the most part and I'm just going to be doing the race of the rims. What do you think. Go ahead and polish them or just leave it?

Polishing of rims is a major undertaking. Because it's outside and exposed, it is very hard to keep them polished, even assuming you get them polished right in the first place.

If you do it tho, good luck!

well if they are cleared, you wont habe to worry about them getting nasty, or staining up. They will be as easy to clean as the body of the car is ( since its cleared too)

I say go for it.. Make somthing unique

If I had too much money, I would have my turbos on and have a nice all forged 331 sitting in my car right now.
