If you car is not a Saleen, why would you want to have them on your car? IMO, the standard Pony cap looks MUCH better.

When i ran ponys they came with some centercaps off a newer V6 car and looked just like that but without any words or horse on em, they were plain. I didnt like em very much, tried to find a good set of pony caps but the wheels/tires were stolen before I could do so.

You could also use the 94 Tri-bar caps. They just have the galloping horse

IMO, the Saleen caps look too plain. Not enough colour to them. The red/white/blue running horse on the pony caps gives it just enough "flash" to offset the dullness of the silver painted wheel, without overpowering the subtle look of them.

My first impression when I saw your pick was "those look like V6 wheels"

The 91-93 pony rim had the best cap out of the dome style caps IMO. I dont know why they went to the plain pony in '94 like on the tribars; I have a set of tribar wheels and my pony caps are going on them when its time.

These would fit

If you had an aftermarket pony 5-lug version, you could find the painted version of these center caps from a new V6 and run them

I had the pony wheels with the same center caps. Didn't last long, they didn't look very appealing just too much blandness

Now that I look at them again, they do look a little generic... with my bad eyes, at 10 feet I probably couldnt read the lettering anyway. Im gonna see if any regular ponies come up.

I gotta say, without the horse they look like cheap knockoff caps, even if they say Saleen on'em. Hell being Saleen, they could have the cheverons on them at least.

I prefer the horse myself. Those center caps do like kind of "plain jane"

PS Those center caps aren't cheap, they go for about 70 bux around here.I had to bite the bullet when i "lost" one or someone stole it.

I'd say stick with the original Pony centercaps or the Tri-Bar centercaps. The Saleen caps make it look a little too plain.

I don't like them either, you should sell them to me so I can not like them on my car.

Well Saleen manufactured and sold the center caps for the Pony wheels, so obviously they didn't have an issue with them being on non-Saleen cars (the horror!)
However, I agree, they are a bit plain, when compared to the running horse. But if all I had was those, I sure as heck wouldn't be running out to buy different center caps, those are just fine...
