From working at a pool ill just tell you this RC. Make sure the first time after its been in use by more than 2 people that you shock it one good time cause the Ph and the Cl will go nuts after the first time its gets a few people in it espically on that size if it gets more than 8-10 it will drop like crazy the next day. sorry just thought i would give you a heads up. I've seen some nice personal pools and I got to tell ya that one is one if the best ive seen. NICE!
The FIRST 2 weeks, the pool company comes and does chemical adjustments.

JOE: When (if) you come over to help with my engine put back together...MAKE SURE YOU BRING SOMETHING TO SWIM IN!! The pool filter is gray plastic housing...so CHROME, not polishing is in order.

DonJohn... THE area RIGHT behind the pool is preserve...there are no people back there. If you look at the other pics of the sides, you'll see the ficus trees growing in....I spend $15 each on those to get 7 gal, 4ft+ hedges instead of the $7 for the 3gal, 2ft ones.

Kristopher...Yeah, down here, my 250k house in 2000 is now selling for mid 400's (for real...Joe can concur on this). The equity loan now was easy to get and well worth it when it's paid.

Thanks for the replies...cant wait to get some time off work and get in it.

I like the way your hot tub sits much higher than the pool ... you get a better waterfall effect than we do ....

We have five acres of wooded land ... very peaceful!!

Lisa....your pool is WAY larger than ours. In my pics, you see the land space BETWEEN the back of the pool and the back yard fence? That is 15 ft of utility/drainage easement that is OUR property, but are prohibited from building on. It sucks because my neighbors and I didnt know that up front, and now we are forced to narrow our pools. Mine is only 12 ft wide at the narrowest part. Could have been 18 or so easily. The larger end is about 17, so it makes up for it. My pool gets to 4-5 ft deep REALLY quick....there is not much room to "walk" around in it.

I almost got the flat spa like yours, but then decided that the raised spa, with more tile would look nice, and then you have ledge to sit on if you have an outdoor night party (Christmas or something) where you dont go in the pool.

Im planning on a Tiki hut to go about 5 -8ft to the left of the spa.

I'll bring my birthday suit.
:nono: :nono: You wear clothes... Jessica is the only one on this board allowed to wear her Bday suit.. And that has to get pre-approved by Kyle.

Travis...My lawn mower is a self mulcher...no clippings...some piece will still get in the pool but not much.

You cant see it, but that back wall made of rock....well, the ground behind it is down about 10". That rock wall is raised up, so that will block some of it.

Joe, seriously, call me when youre in the area working to drop by at lunch for a quick dip and a Heiney!
