Popping Noise during acceleration

When I go to WOT I get a weird sort of popping/cracking noise that sounds like its coming from the left front wheel. Would this possibly be a wheel bearing?

Well, if what you are describing sounds like marbles in a coffee can then it is the infamous "PINGING" that our 94-95 cars have. Just do a search and read. Has been covered mainy times here at StangNet. Good Luck

no, its not pinging. It sounds like a harsher version of popping bubble wrap, and it only seems to do it from the left wheel, and at WOT

Maybe a motor mount going bad and header vibrating on the shock tower?

Might check where the header meets the H pipe? At WOT you could have a leak in the exhaust.
