OK, just got the car running again, Here's whats been going on.

got the car fired up and had a loud "clunking" sound. Turns out I forgot to torque my #8 rockers down. Oops. Fixed that and ran fine in the garage. Set timing at 12*, 40psi, and went in for the night.

Came ohme today from work and took it for a drive to the local cruise-in. It felt liek it was running crappy and was cutting out/stuttering all through the RPM's. runningl iek total crap.

got to the cruise in and got the FP down to 38 and drove it as so to a outing with friend about 10 miles or so out. More I drove, crappeir it got basically. got it home and checked itming...it was under 0, about -2 or so. Took it back to 12*, ran a lil better but it didnt get rid of this popping/backfiring and STILL runs crappy. It feels SLOW. Same setup as before. Found a burnt 8.8 ACCEL wire, and replaced it with a spare 8mm ACCEL wire. still runs crappy. Im using my 200 mile Autolite 103's gapped at .035 BTW.

What do you guys think. I want her running good so I can enjoy it. Thoguht it was bad gas but ran it down to nothing and put fresh 93 octane in, sitll runs crappy. ANY IDEAS???

thanks.

I had popping issues a month ago.....bad ignition module...

spark plugs from factory specs are .052 you should be
.045-.052 unless aupercharger and spray for that small gap.

I had my gap at .040 then replaced module and gapped to .050....runs fine....on speed density car
