Well it was running almost perfect tonight in the cool weather. So Im thinking it's just something with the stock computer and it should be fixed with a tune?

You don't have one???You need one maybe that's the reason you were poping head gaskets (running too lean). And the fpr is located on the passenger side fuel rail in the back, just after the intake elbow.

crap...well its just a little chrome colored cylinder thing with a tube coming out of the top that goes to a place near the throttle body... i dont see any way to adjust anything about it

Yes, I think it most definetely has to do with the stock computer trying to run a motor that makes 2.5 times as much horsepower as originally designed for. Think about all the variables, suck as stroke and air volumes that are litterally "off the chart" different than your old motor.

That picture of the spark plug looks O.K. to me.

Hey Low-5.0... How do you get to spark plugs on the drivers side(especially #8) with those Kooks?? I have problems enough with my 302 and LTs. BTW, Great build up!!

I have to use a wrench on the spark plug socket. On one of the plugs I can't even get the socket on and have to use just a wrench. It's definitely a pita to change plugs on this motor.

It ran pretty good this morning, but it was acting up a little on the drive home from a car show I went to. I think the tune will fix all. It's been staying fairly cool, but I have to run the fan on high all the time.
