Port Job Good Or Bad?

Friend picked up these heads for a 351w build. They are gt40's setup with bigger i/e valves..is the port job suppose to leave the ridges in the port like that...i seem to remember people saying that they shouldn't be smooth....i dunno he got them for dirt cheap since they had some bent valves heh.

Looks fine to me... Its not that it shouldnt be smooth, its that some people say you see better gains if its not polished and just have some roughness...

Slick and polished nice & shiny is OK on the exhaust ports

Helps keep the carbon from building up
