What is a reasonable price to have a set of heads ported? I want my factory heads ported and need to know a reasonable price?

What stage was that and what cfm are you flowin now?

I dunno. They were done by DTA Performance. I have no specs. I can tell you that no valve work/rework was done.

Did you feel a gain when you put them on?

i had a full port with blending and valve job done and new stainless oversized valves, retainers, and keepers for about $1100. heads are flowing 232 intake/205 exhaust at 550.

Are they pi heads? is it a 99+ block? did you get any dyno numbers. any other mods? heh

what kinda HP did you gain?

have no clue, i did it when it put together a new motor. what everyone down here heads and cams in mod motors is good for 75+ horsepower.

yes they are pi heads on an 01 iron block. i did the heads and cams when i built my motor and put on my blower. this whole thing snowballed from a broke tranny. i already had full exhaust, n2o, gears and some suspension stuff. working on getting new dyno numbers.

local shop charges around 2000 for heads cams and labor.
just for heads ported should be around the 1000-1500 price
