i was looking at my port sizes today and i am amazed. I put my felpro gaskets up to my heads, and there was about a 1/8 inch around that i could see, then i put it up to my Explorer lower, and wow there was about a 1/2 inch of metal around that...im amazed at how much smaller it is, even though the setup i have was direct from ford. YOU KNOW i will be porting that thing out ALOT because that is a HUGE bottle neck...and hey you never know, what if i get some good power from doing this? just a post to ask is anyone has noticed this. this leads me to believe that the gt40p heads would work even better with a better manifold, at least one that has the same size ports.
