Ported lower intake

Hello everyone, I have been seriously considering buying a TMOSS ported lower intake for the stang. Our car is pretty much stock with the mods that are in my signature. Would I notice decent gains from it?, I like the idea that I can retain the factory strut tower brace. Thanks in advance.
 
Tom seems to be a very knowledgable guy and based on what I know he has done some really good work.

I know I have tossed around the idea of a Tmoss lower more than once but I ultimately envison myself with an aftermarket intake. If you plan to not do too much then I don't think you can beat the value in this lower intake.
 
I had a Tmoss ported stock lower running with my gt40 heads when they were unported still. The ports on the ported stock intake were about as dead a match as you could get, it almost looked like he had the heads to match them up with. $ for $ one great mod to do.

The ported stock lower was great. I was only able to get 1 pass at the track with the stock ported lower and unported gt40s with a TFS1 cam and ran a 13.5 @102. I thought it was a preaty well matched combo.

I now have a Tmoss ported gt40 lower and it was VERY interesting to get a chance to watch him port it while pointing out things as he made "cuts".

Tmoss has helped me with a few things and I am very thankfull for that help...he does know what he is doing. :nice:
 
Thanks for the info guys, I am still on the fence about this, I don't know if I want to go through all the effort of swapping the intake out or not for a 10 hp gain. I have been kicking the TMOSS ported intake or an Explorer intake around for a while now but the ported intake sounds more practical due to the fact that I can still use my factory strut tower brace. Decisions, decisions:D
