porting kits

What do yall think of the porting kits from summit? I plan on porting my intake myself and maybe cleanin the heads im debating on that one.

But I would recommend a kit with extra cartridge rolls becuase I found myself only using the tapered ones and I had to conserve them to last. Also look into a carbide cutting bit fo the quick cutting. I wish I had one when I ported my heads. That would cut your time in half.

Is there a certain type of carbide bit i should get for porting? Oh and when porting an intake gasket matching is fine right?

Any write up's on porting your own stuff? Sounds like a fun project...
