how good would the benifits be on a 01 gt with ported heads? NA and FI (maybe 6 lb kb)? Neighbor wants 1100 dollars for a pair of ported and polished 2003 gt heads. he said 5 angle valve, comp cams springs, ferea valves. already have cams, are they worth it? or should i just save that money towards a blower? i was thinking they would help out with anything really, blower or not. any ideas? they look to be in nice shape. i asked him for the flow data, said will get it asap... any way to tell if its real lol?
do you guys think i could get a better deal just getting mine ported?

Well if they do have Comp cams and springs then thats about $800-$900 worth of stuff right there. It all depends on what stage they were ported to. Why is he selling them? If they do in fact have a good port job, and are in perfect condition, then it would be a good deal and would produce at least 40+ more horse on your setup.

I think that the heads would be helpful but personally I would put the money toward the SC.
