I have a 96 GT Convertable with 80k I have done several mods I just purchased some PI heads and am preparing to purchase the rest of the itmes like the intake manafold reqired to do the head swap. I would like to port/match and polish the heads prior to install (ofcourse) I don't want to spend the $$ to take them to a shop to have it done. I have done alot of fabication work for my car and others and I have a pretty steady hand when doing that kind of work I have done all of my mods and find it quite enjoyable and relaxing but I am wondering if I would be stupid to try to do this and should just bite the bullit and pay a shop to do it. How much would a machine shop usualy charge for this kind of work? any sugesstions would be much appreciated
