Porting stock e7 heads

I'm looking to port a set of stock E7 heads or buy a set off ebay or Thumper. If I choose to port my own, does anyone make a kit with the required bits? How many hours am I looking at to do the job? Has anyone here done this on their own successfully?

It can be done and yes you will see some horsepower gains but my theory is that you should never throw money into e7's (i.e. getting them ported professionally/paying) because your never gonna see worth wild results. Doing it yourself is alright and cheap but I think its too much time for not enough gain. If your gonna port them yourself dremel is the way to go. A kid at my school is porting his chevy 350 heads and he has about 5 hours into it. Thats not including the polishing hes gonna be doing. Just some stuff think about. Good Luck

I know that summit has a set of carbide bits for porting or talk to tmoss as I believe that he knows a website that sells them. If you have access to a compressor I would use a die grinder if you are gonna port them yourself
