trickflow offers a spring upgrade package that includes springs, chromemoly retainers, keepers, shims, and seals. dont know the specs off the top of my head but i know summit has them.

i plan on running the same setup as you. ported e7's, steeda 19 and a cobra intake. i'm not to sure about that cam tho because i heared you lose some bottom end and thats what i kind of want. i'll probably just retard in a few degrees and keep my fingers crossed

what intake do you plan on using?

i will use the tfs street heat, but my friends had the same stock ported head with a f303 cam with anything else, no exhaust, no headers, no intake nothing and he ran 13.60 at 101 mph with a 3.08 gear !!!!!! this is F** crazy i hear a lot of good thing with steeda camshhaft for the sn95 body but i never try one so i will do more search about it and if i will not be satisfied i will put and e 303 cheaper and i will be sure that i will have some good result

what is your setup man ??????????

Get in touch with Thumper...I upgraded to double Vassco springs on a set of his heads...83.00 for the upgrade....leave all the stock hardware and just replace the springs...I did this for my 19 cam.
I have no complaints on the cam...i also have nothing to compare it to...i went from stock to it...it is a tad lazy down low, i did notice that...but come 3k it comes right alive.....thats with 355s to...373s/410s might help that..

I ran 13.7 @ 99.9 last year....that was with a stock Tmoss lower...I swapped to a 93 Cobra/Fox set-up this year, but have yet to hit the 1320 with it....

currently... none. i have a set of ported E7's, not sure on the cam yet maybe the steeda 19, and looking for a cobra intake.

hey Rio, i thought you had 3.55's then switched to 3.73's???? how much bottome end did you gain back???

did you dyno with either the explorer or cobra intake?

I have yet to do the 373s...I really kinda like it as is....prolly throw the 373s in when i head to the drags..

I dyno'd with the new 93 Cobra/Fox set-up....I really didnt see much gain from where i was with the Tmoss ported lower stock set-up....my TQ went down, from 311 to 295 with the new set-up...my HP went up from, 252 to 262....did 2 runs and everything was dead-nuts...AF ratio was perfect...both runs like within .5 HP...Twas 91 deg in the dyno room....car was at 180 deg...
I went to another dyno with Striped5.0 (Travis) and his club for a dyno day...its not the place where i baselined it before...
I should have some video coming of the run....For comparasion, bone stock 89 GT did like 196 RWHP...

Well Rio when the car goes back together in a month or so with all powdercoated parts new dist. heads etc.

I will know what the Intake will do with a set of highly ported e7's, with 1.94 and 1.60's i am gonna dyno like a week or so after, and then go to the 1/4.

After the dyno and track time the plan is to swap to the trick flow street heat.Well a little after anyway. I would like a copy or file of your old dyno graph etc. just for comparison kinda.

Congrats on the 262 295 numbers, that puts you in alum. gt40 range right? Thats like 302 Hp at the FW so thats 1 Hp per cube.

Badsaleen, 100 shot would be fine, I would sell you a set of good springs if you want....come off my stock heads.

ported heads and a 100 shot should net like a mid to high twelve i would think

Thanks Jason...I cant complain....I was thinking the swap would be worth more, but I did use another dyno so my old numbers mean jack...The guys I went with were all boosted...the turbo guys ran like 490RWHP...i was W.T.F., that was with TW heads, E cam and 93 Cobra intake....Unreal....
I overlayed one of my runs...basically I run the same numbers as a stock 01 Cobra....

not bad man, do you think that the valves in the heads i have now will help? flow more make more power etc. You still have pedestal mounts on your car right, are they 1.6 or 1.7, i am gonna go to the 1.6 rr, i didn't know if you might need the 1.7 or want to do a swap

=to a 01 cobra :nice: I have bought another block that has been bored to accep 331 pistons etc. when i get these heads on i am driving it and enjoying it till the new motor is done..

I have Ped 1.6 Scorpions...I was gonna dub around and swap some 1.7s on the Ex side for a tad more on that side...but I dont feel like ripping into it...
Im not really a guru on the valve stuff, but more air in should be a good thing long as you have parts around it to support it....What cam you running??

I hear you on enjoying it...No more parts for me this year...my funds are tapped out....Good luck with the new combo...keep us posted...
