porting

hey i was wondering if it hard to do a port job yourself, i want to try and port my 1970 W heads and my eddy air gap but i dont have the $$ to send it off and get it done, i ordered new valve springs that are reccomended for my cam i am hoping that will give me the endge i need, my car feels slower than last years combo

i have a 150 Shot to add on to it also
