Hey guys the other night i was out and i hit it real quick in second at about 3,000rpm and the pipe from the supercharger popped off. When i put it back on and went to start it back up there was a very violent shake at an idle. While driving as well it shakes severly. The car will idle run and drive. Do you think i bent a pushrod or maybe a rocker arm came loose? Any input would be appreciated.

With the tube blowing off it most likely fouled the plugs, put new plugs in the car and see if it goes away.....

Been there, done that...lol

You think after only 200 miles the plugs would be fouled? I was thinking maybe now it is a loose rocker because i never tightened them after i put the motor back together and let it run. Arent you suppose to tighten them again after like 20 minutes.

It's not the miles....

You said you blew the blower tube off, that usually results in Instantly fouling the plugs.

I set the rockers usually once, unless they need some re-adjusting.

alright well its not the plugs looked at em didn't looked fouled but changed them anyways. Pushrods and rockers are fine also. Problem is still there. Im starting to lean towards a junk harmonic balancer.

Well I just got a call from my mechanic on my "possible bent pushrod" and I have a short motor with no oil pressure.

Ouch...hopefully you didn't do any damage, was it a stock piece? Did it spin or was the rubber sticking out...

I would suggest a nice SFI piece for that combo especially with the blower.

yes it was the stock piece and there was rubber sticking out. It doesn't seem like ther has been any damage and it doesn't appear that the crank was twisted either.
