Well as some of you know, I have basically put the car up this winter. I was going to call the insurance co. and pull the insurance but when I get home they are closed, so needless to say, I haven't done it.

Well I got an email from one of the photographers of Modified Mustang and he said he wants to shoot the car this year if possible. So we are trying for this weekend. Most of you know, it will be snowing very soon and surprisingly it isn't now. So the shoot may happen but being sooo late in the year, weather will be our only issue. Its just so ironic because I basically put the car away for winter and to start new projects, now it may be coming back out.

Another thing I am worried about is being so late in the year, if the weather does cooperated, do you think the pics will come out good. You know, no leaves, brown grass, and low sunny. I don't know if it will be a country or unban shoot or where we are going but thats somewhat of a concern. I almost just want to wait till next year. What do you guys think?

hey, to be honest, take what you can get!! thats so badass, and i wish i could have professional pics taken of my car and have a feature in a magazine, nevermind 2 features!!! i think some pics in this kinda weather would be badass cause the car will stand out even more:nice:

Congrats. :nice:
It's definately a fun experience. Mustang Monthly did a feature on my car when I was in High School. I remember visiting my friend at the office a month or so after the shoot and he told me they were using one of the pics of my car on the cover.

You know the pics are going to look great - it's in the mag's best interest and is what they do (they can airbrush a beach and the ocean behind your car. :D ). As Michael said, A bird in the hand...............

They can always redo it in the Spring if needed but you'll have your foot way in the door otherwise.

I'd take it. Congrats!

Hell Tom.....I hope it snows a couple of inches........As long as the road is clean that might make for a helluva pic.......you will have to trailer the beast to keep int clean but would make for an awesome pic.:D

I'd do it now. As was said, this is an opportunity that I wouldn't pass on. My car was shot in November when there were no leaves in the trees and the grass was starting to brown. With how bright your car is it would really pop in that type of setting the the background wouldn't be a distraction.

Based on the quality of photos in Modified I know that no matter what the spread will be increadible. They have one of the nicest layouts of any magazine out there.

What are you talking about? Your car along with alot of other cars on here, could be in the mags. It cools to see peoples cars that you know in the mags. Go to some NMRA or FFW events, that were they spot me.

Unfortunately, that would require quite a long drive for me. (montana). But, after I get done workin all winter I should have a nice white 01-04 Lightning to pull my cobra with. I WILL be on the cover of MM&FF or 5.0 SF, but I've got to finish college before I should go balls deep into this car. Mark my words though, it WIll happen. I'm part owner of an accessory shop, which is where I do my work anyway, but I won't be ready for about 5 years. Wow that was long. Anyhow, good luck and I really look forward to seeing you in a mag, AGAIN!!! :nice: :nice:

The funniest part is that I bought this car to be my racecar, a beater of sorts, and then I got caught up in the appearance and interior stuff just like I did with my highschool car. I built the one below with my own money by myself in highschool, instead of eating lunch I bought car parts!
