seems like my car slowly looses coolant during the winter times only. its not going in the motor, plugs look fine, nor does the oil look creamy. it seemed to stop since the weather's been warmer. think its a leak in the radiator reacting to the changes in temp?

How slowly? It could be a pinhole leak in a hose. Run it up to temp and check the hoses out. If it is a small leak it will dry up pretty quickly from the engine heat. Also look for any white residue left from the coolent drying up on the hoses or anyplace it could be leaking.

a broken heater core would make your coolant leak also and since you only use the heater in winter (when its cold) i would assume its a possible cause but im not sure, but i think its worth a check

its in the passenger side kinda located under the dash to make sure its this check to see were teh leak is , might also just be a heater hose the in or the out, or if the passenger side carpet is damp then your best bet is the heater core is broken also can you smell anti freeze inside?

yeah i heard its a PITA to replace cause you need to take out the enitre dash or at least thas what a mechanic told me i just had him do it for me he charged me 180 with parts
