I've always wanted the buy a lil honda crx for something good on gas, thats small and people will like....

I've grown up over the last year. I used to despise any import car, calling it a ricer burner.

But now i aprecciate the fact alot of poeple are making lil engines fast.
I just dont like when people get too extravagent with the car. Loud exhaust, acky body kit. Stickers, crazy paint job.

I would like the have a lil black or red crx.

But of course mustangs are still my favorites!!!!! :O

i only call people ricers when they take their car over the line. you can own a domestic and still be a ricer. there is a few ricer mustangs around my areas. big wings, tacky graphics, tipped mufflers, and risdiculously bright paintjobs are all ricer and should be kept away from all cars.

I'd like a CRX one day... K20A engine swap (sort of like a "big block" lol). Stock body, stock Honda wheels, etc... Would make a nice sleeper!
yeah. a nice front heavy sleeper.

why would you pay that much for a k20a when you can have a d16z1 or d16y1 to put into your little CRX. either a b series or d series motor. k = no,no for the crx. thats unless you're making it some kind of straight line car.

This is a very tricky subject in deed

Now keep in mind this is coming from someone who hates 599% of the imports out there :D Anyways, I basicaly feel the same way about thyis subject as MustangLXT :nice: Well except for the big wing deal on a msuatng since mine came stock that way ;) I really think this whole ricer deal is a state of the mind deal if you ask me and that there is what I call a import owner and a Ricer. I've hung around both since most V8 guys don't except a 2.3T 4cl in there group. I must say the import guys are a pretty cool group and do wonders with their rides. While the ricer group puts every penny into the way the ride looks. Now like stated above, I've also seen stangs done the same way  I mean come one, a Honduh front end on a stang

As long as you don't put a huge fart cannon or a body kit on it, and proclaim it to do 10 seconds in the quarter mile, you're not a ricer.

I knew this kid in high school who had a 99+ V-6 with a 5-speed. He always told me how fast it was and he smoked all these different cars he raced. He told me one time he put a cold air kit on it and I later saw it was merely an aftermarket panel filter in place of the stock one. :rlaugh:
After that he tried to tell me how it had 280HP ... STOCK! :nonono:

He, my friends, was a ricer.

Reminds me of a guy I played darts with the otyher day. He went on and on about these championship matches he won back home. Now I'm not the greatest thrower but I can hold my own. Anyways I beat him about 16 to 4. Hey I couldn't help it, I'm sick with the flu and hurt from head to toe :( I told him when the league meets etc but I didn't have the heart to tell him those guys whipe the floor with me :p Anyways, as long as the import guy don't go on about his 400fwhp car thats really 150hp, I'll be cool with him.

ricers are only the ones with fartcans and big wings. A Stock import is Not a rice burner. I used to drive a honda and it was a great car. If i wanted an economy car i wouldnt hesistate to buy another one. Now that the stang is out of commission ill be driving around in a prelude, And thats a great little car.

i dont know, Something about the idea of launching a car and taking weight off of the pulling "wheel"... I can see my trying to do it now, especially the way I leave in the green car.

Over the summer I raced the world's fastest honda(93 hatch w/GSR) and I only pulled about 5 cars on him with street tires and no spray.
AND you'd never believe but I recently came across the worlds second fastest honda (del sol) and outran that about 3 cars with mustanggrn's cougar. :rlaugh:
I knew this boy from a long time ago. I saw him at the next light and he had his girl with him...he just smiled and gave me the finger. Which I accepted gracefully. :)

I almost bought and '89, thank God I didn't! I wouldn't be happy unless I got the Mustang, as slow as it is. But the new(er) Preludes ... mmm ... one Honda I would love the get my hands on.
Did they stop making them in 2001?
