Iv tried replacing my factory speakers in the past and i can never get anything other then factory size speakers to fit on the drivers side rear.
If the magnet is any larger then stock it hits a post/bar that is behind the speaker on that side?

Dose everyone elses Fox have a post/bar behind the driver side rear speaker?

What year?

If 90 or later, it's possibly the three point seatbelt upper mount

Pics also help.

If you are talking about a convertible, then yes. I have a 1991 vert.... i hate those posts.. Recently, the stud on the top snapped on me. Now it just hangs there by the bottom bolt

Was working on the stang today and shot a few pics of the bar im talking about. You can see where it has a white spot where in the past i tried
installed a speaker and the magnet hit it.

Yes... That is it. There is a bar. Confirmed. It's a constant battle with my 6 x 8's and said post anytime I have to adjust the back panel.... The magnet will fight, but you can win this battle with a little effort!

Can you zoom out on a pic just for my curiosity. I don't have anything like that in my car and don't have any interference with my aftermarket speakers. Mine's an '88 so that may be it but I'd be interested in seeing one wide shot.
