Mine is still on jack stands being put back together after a CF of issues the last 2+ years.
Part of the problems have been self inflicted, like switching engine management systems, and then deciding to go DIS.
Slow going, but am making progress.

I do love that we both drive our cars as much as possible. I for one would rather have a well built driver’s car than a show car. I’m blessed to pack my family in and go places in the old girl. They both know I feel Ronny’s presence when I drive that car. And it genuinely makes me happy to drive it. I can be sparing with my emotions sometimes and seeing me smile makes them light up.
However, a compliment like that coming from the likes of y’all is one of the the highest I can imagine. Thank y’all.
Hell yeah man! Your stories make it that much better! You’ve obviously been through a lot and you’ve come out on top for sure…… I have the k9 connection too, with my brother in law being recently retired as a trainer….(his dogs are awesome).
I also remember when @TOOLOW91 was reading, and responding to posts (at all hours of the night) from his hospital bed when he was dealing with his issues, and has come out on top as well!
This whole forum is like no other social media, that’s for sure! Come here, read about cars, maybe help a few people along the way, and forget about your stresses of real life for a bit……. With no other BS!
All I know, is that if we were all in one place at one time, it would probably be one hell of a kick a$$ party!

We all have our own lives with ups and downs that hit just as hard as the next person’s. I open up to people I’ve never physically seen on this forum more than 95% of people I know in real life. This is definitely a safe space for me. I’m thankful for it and the help and kind words I’ve received here. I’m always down to party!
Right?!?!?! My foot exploded 5 years ago almost to the day! Taught myself to weld that summer. I was off work for 11 months and at one point was concerned I was going to have less complications with amputation. But here I am, with both feet even and I can still walk silently through the forest. God is great.
Wife and I are trying to make it happen this year. If not, Foxtoberfest 2024. Let’s all just commit to that now and make it easier.
The only help I can offer to get people there for Stangnet meet up at Foxtoberfest 2024 is I can make color photocopies of my badge, you can cut it out and flash it to cops that try to pull you over for excessive speed. If you hold it up to the window, most cops will be dumb enough to think it’s real and they’ll call off their pursuit. If you’re lucky, they may give you escort through their jurisdiction. No promises on the escort, though.
