I lived in Oregon for the past 5 years and ran 20% tint. I have never gotten hassled about it. You should be fine, especially if you're just passing through.I will be going with a 25% tint here in WA state. 24% is the limit. BUT I have to be wary traveling South to OR as 34% is the limit.

Nice. I lived in Monmouth (half an hour north of Corvallis) during college, then moved to Salem. My dad actually lives near Seattle so I use to drive up and visit. I love how relaxed cops are with car stuff up there. I moved back home to Hawaii last year and you can't get away with ANYTHING! you can't even lower your car without getting a permit from the state first lol. We also require a yearly safety check, so you can forget about tinting your windows anything below 35%. It's just ridiculously difficult to do anything down here lolGood to know!
