Hey guys i am still trying to lay out the right parts for my windsor buildup and i am finally getting around to asking for some of your combos. I just want to get an idea of whats been working and what doesnt. I have a 351 complete motor from a 70's LTD waiting for me at a wrecking yard so im getting the ball moving. I think i want to stay Na for cost concerns and i am debating stroking it out. thats why i am asking for combos so it will help me decide. If you dont mind posting what it cost your combo that would be great but i realize that some dont want to give up that info. Is there anything u would change about ur setup? Dos/donts? thanks alot

This is my set up. It's a 69 351W bored .030 with untouch 69 351 heads. Also has a hydraulic flat tapped Crane cams duration @050 216in 228ex. valve lift .484in .512ex, 1.6 Scorpion roller rockers, MSD distributor. Moroso spark plug wires. Edelbrock RPM air gap intake untouched. with Holley 750 Double Pumper. This is my daily driver. It has been 12.84@105 so far. It makes a lot of low end power. Since the cam is so small and the heads and intake are not ported. It goes 8.11@84 in the 1/8 mile. That is a very very mild combo.

Edit: I forgot. The motor cost me $1,800 to build

everything engine related in signature added up to around $5000. Throw in the supercharger add another $1700. Tweecer another $500, exhaust $650, cooling realted $500

So from engine to exhaust around $8350

What pistons do you have in ur setup to yeild that compression ratio? I want somthing with high compression for my buildup as well. I will probly go with aftermarket heads unless i end up with a 351w with some decent factory heads cause i know some are much better than others. thanks
