powder coat headers?

i doubt it would handle the heat.
i believe they spray the coating on at about 200* F (i could be wrong but sure i'm close to the temp).
also, i know people that seem to powder coat everything and if it would work on headers then they would have already coated them too.

Life is nothing w/o some risks. 
People told me that paint would never hold on anything on my motor w/o melting or discoloring. Well I'm hardheaded and a risk taker and I could not have more happy with the results.
If no one has seen it before and you really want to just go for it. What's the worse that could happen? What is is gonna take to fix it? Once you have those answers you will never have any problems.
Just hope for the best and plan for the worse. Here are my results.
