Well, it took me a full day to get them completed but it was well worth it. It took 3 diffrent coats, a primer, a chrome coat, and finally the red translucent top coat. They are not perfect but not to bad for the 1st time coating cam covers with this process. If anyone is interested in doing this themselves make sure you cook the covers 1st after prep for 15 min at 400 deg. This burns off any contamination and lets the cam covers outgas. Also make sure you use an outgassing primer powder coat. Without it your finish coat will get fisheyes or bulbbles in spots.

Well it took 3 diffrent powders at about $15 per pound of each. I only used about 1/2 of each one. I also used about $2 worth of prep spray, tape, etc. All in all about $50 in material I would say and about 8 hours of my time taking them off, prep, coating, baking and re-installing.
