will that powdercoating be able to take the heat? I'd be afraid of it blistering

yup did my valve covers last year and no prob! i work at a place where we make recessed lights so alot of the powder coat we use goes on big ass lights that throw of tons of heat. iam thinking of doing the tail pipes the same color, what do you guys think ?

go with either chrome of stainless tailpipes. I think having powdercoated tailpipes would look funny.

Oh okay.. i gotcha. I was gonna say if you just powdercoat the parts that aren't visable and leave the visable parts chrome, that would be real sweet. Maybe you could do the mufflers too.

I agree that the plaque looks nice in this simpler state. It could use some accents though, maybe some black highlights on the cobra or color in and/or accent the lettering.

I think it looks great, and even better it will last.

nice intake.

I don't like the coating over the emblem.

I think that the emblem is the best part of the Cobra intake.

I think you should do with the plaque what YOU think looks good and not worry what we think. As you can see from my avatar, I think customizing the manifold face plate is a GOOD idea.
