Power Antenna

has anyone installed or attempted to install a power antenna in a mustang? i usually listen to CD's, not the radio and i think the car would look a lot cleaner without that antenna sticking out all the time, auto zone has them for $40, would it be worth it?

Most post I have seen here usually go with the shortened antenna. Never seen a post about someone that had a power one. Good luck.

One problem comes to mind is that you have to make sure where the antenna goes down into, that there will be enough room for it to retract.

I think your best option would be to entirely remove the antenna, and just stick it somewhere within the body instead. I know some people have done that. Of course that would mean some body work and paint.

You might be able to get the antenna in the passenger side A pillar.
