Here's my dilemma. I just bought a new Holley HP 4150 650 carb. When I went to put it on, I realized that it does not have a vacuum line fitting for the power brake booster. I called Holley and they told me to drill and tap a hole in my intake. I don't think so. Or buy a TD spacer which has the fitting. Maybe, but what if I add NOS and have to add another thing between my carb and intake.

So I'm wondering, what about converting to manual brakes. Will I need the vacuum line anymore? Is it difficult to do this? Is it a better idea.

I'd love to hear everyones suggestions.

I would drill and tap a port in your intake before running manual brakes.

I should mention that this car is not for the street. 1/4 mile only.

Good luck trying to stop at 100MPH+ at the end of the dragstrip on manual fox brakes. It's bad enough with the stock power disk brakes.

Early Foxes have manual brakes. Might want to look into those setups.
