yeah I know "not another one of these threads..."

Im just looking for a realistic gain from a few parts Im putting on the stang.

So far Ive put down 220rwhp and 284rwtq. That was with the following parts.

-Stock 302
-MAC O/R H Pipe
-Flowmaster 2 Chamber CatBack
-FRP Aluminum Driveshaft
-MSD Cap/Rotor
-Timing at 12*
-super dirty panel filter (not K&N)

Since then Ive added,
-MAC 1 3/4" ceramic shorties ( I know way too big)
-C&L 76mm MAF w/ inlet tube
-9" K&N Conical w/ custom heat shield
-FMS Cobra Intake w/ 1" spacer
-Accufab 70mm TB
-FRP 9mm Wires
-MSD 6AL
-MSD Blaster 2 Coil
-Taurus Electric Fan

Im thinking I should be somewhere around 240rwhp and 300+rwtq.

Here is my last dyno sheet.

Really only gains will come as a result of the increas in maf diameter and intake...however you may have acutally offset the increase by going too large on the headers...I would be surprised if you saw any increase in HP or tq of more than 10-15.

Your guess seems about right, i would go with more base timing and 93 octane you can safely run 14* or so (every car is different) Keep advancing till it knocks and then back it down slightly.
Your first dyno run is impressive for the near stock setup you had!
Good luck, any plans for future mods?

well I have another 302 block in my basement thats been hot tanked along with some stock E7 heads. But I really dont have the money to build an engine now.

I might throw some 1.7RR's on and a new set of Lifters.

I had thought about getting my spare E7 ported out but that seems kinda expensive and for a little more $$ I could get aluminum heads...

The larger headers seems to have lost a bit of low end torque but it picked up a bit on the top end.

Ill be getting it dynoed once Its all back together. My shop is having a 3 pulls w/ AF for $50 deal.

Hey Ken, when we going to strap the notches on the dyno at excessive? i think they still have that deal... 3 pulls for $50. its going to be the only way to find out the true figures. Plus i want to get some base pulls before i add my h/c/i.

I don't know about 275 but with a H/C/I this car would be a beast

your car?

I also forgot to mention Underdrive pulleys and the 3G but the alternator should affect power.

I almost bought a Wolverien cam a couple weeks back. But I didnt plan on doing a cam swap any time soon...

Honestly If I can get 300rwhp and 325-350rwtq ill be happy.

Maybe if I get the stock E7's ported to the max and run a decent cam and more compression I can get there.

Whenever I get this thing together lol...

I need to get the rear tires to fit first lol... 295's are putting up a good fight.

Nah i was saying if you had a nice set of heads your car would be an animal.
300 on E7's is tough, but with nice heads you could do easy.:nice:

Well the car should be on the dyno in the next month or so.
I have the rear end out of the car getting rebuilt.

I just put in a new set of plugs and gapped them to .065 Should be putting the 70mm TB on soon.

Still thinking about sending my spare set of E7's out to get ported and maybe get some GT40 valves put in.
