Power Locks

I have a 1989 LX Hatch 5.0 and when i first got the car, early this year i believe february, the power locks seemed to work fine, but for some reason recently they have not been working at all, i've checked all the fuses many times, removed the door panels and checked wiring, etc. but i can't sem to find the problem. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The actuators may be bad. It's a common problem.

any idea on how i might be able to check them or anything, or where to get replacements for hopefully cheap. thanks.

also, you can goto the junkyard and get some used ones or they sell some used ones on ebay... but then a again you never know how long they will last

Kevin is right-on, as usual, about the route of replacement.

I'd ask: do you have power to the switches and are the switches toggling as they should? Or even easier, put your test light on an actuators two wires and hit the button. Does the test light illuminate? If not, there are wiring issues to address first.
