Power rack, anything I should save?

'76, if that matters.

Sooner or later I will be taking the front suspension off, including the steering. Plans are for a manual rack when I get the car together, I don't want/like power steering for the most part. Especially on a "fun" car like this is going to be.

So are there any brackets, bolts, fittings, etc that I shouldn't throw away, not for me to reuse, but I am thinking if stuff is hard to find I could let someone else have them. I am planning on trying not to throw anything away for awhile, but I do have a limited amount of space for storing stuff that I won't be reusing.

Thanks,
Russ

I think you'll need to save the rag joint and all hardware down to the bottom yoke that attaches to the steering rack. That yoke has a different diameter spline.

OTOH just use the power rack without the power. Others here can tell you more about that.
