Today I tried to move my drivers seat up and found out that from the farthest back position it will only move up about an inch or so. That is the position I usually have it so it is not a huge problem. I would like to be able to move it all the way forward in case I ever have to get to the back bolts so that I can remove the seat. All the other power functions work(lumbar/up/down) and I checked the under hood fuse just in case. Anbody have an idea why it would be doing this? Mabe there is something blocking it?

Well.... I saw this thread and thought today would be a good day to see what was up w/my seat.
Fuse was shot.

My seat too is having a hard time going up. No probs going back though.

Well, it works fine now. I gave it some "help" to get it moving forward. At first it didnt seem like it would go but it ended up moving. It does move forward a little more slowly than back. Most mustangs I have been in seem to do that though.

haha that pitch has no effect

just park down hill:rlaugh:

my car goes forward and back and up, but no down

I had to pull the seat and turn the shaft manually with pliars to get it down so my spikey hair didnt stick in the room :bang:
