I really was looking to get power rack and pinon, however cost is always a major deciding factor and is it really worth the cost difference. Are the manual racks out there easy to turn? Gimme your opinion.

Thanks

Stock 16:1 ratio GT box with V-8 & A/C weight on top of 225 front tires. It takes some muscle, but my 16 year old daughter learned the "technique" of turning the wheel while moving and she loves it.

Parking can sometimes be a chore, but I like the feel and when it comes time to upgrade, I think I'll just swap for a FR or Borgeson manual box with a '68 colapsable column for safety.

yeah it really depends on the tire size. manual is always going to be tough at a stand still but with a little roll is not bad at all. I personally love the direct feel I have with the road with manual and when cruising I dont think there is any difference (but then I have never had power in any of my older cars but my wife does and it seems too sloppy gives you the 'out of touch' feeling).

if you parallel park alot or need tight turns with little effort then power is the only way to go.
