Power Wheels Mustang GT

Bought one of the red PowerWheels Mustang GT Convertibles for Christmas for the granddaughter a couple of days ago. I got the thing put together in about two Yuenglings/hours, including applying all of the stickers and decals. The manual says to allow 60 or more minutes for assembly. I was in no hurry so I took my time. What really impressed me was the level of detail of the finished product in terms of its resemblance to the real thing. With the exception of a lack of rear bumper license plate indent, the detail of this little car was 100%. The sticker sheet even includes two round black stickers to place inside the fake dual exhaust tips. The neat thing is when the ignition key is pushed it plays one of four different sounds. One of them sounds like the car being run through the gears to the point that you can hear the driver chirp the tires when he grabs second gear! The engine clips sound as good as the clips on www.mustangexhaust.com.

Our granddaughter is probably a little too young for it as she'll be two in February. My wife was the one who convinced me to get it for her.
The only thing that I would try to do if it was going to reside here permanently would be to make the head, tail & driving lights functional.

check out this story from S&B. he got one for his nephew a few months ago..... http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=661825

I couldn't get the pics on the thread to load. The PowerWheels Stang was THE hit of the day at our house. She loved the noises and lights on the dash. The weather was lousy here so we couldn't play with it too much, but we did get about an hour outside between rainstorms.

Best part is that she can say that her grandpa bought her first Mustang for her:)
