Power window and door lock problem

My power windows and door locks just stopped working. The windows started acting up a few weeks ago. They would start to work then stop and then start back, Now nothing. I checked all the fuses and pulled the switches out on the drivers side to see if they had power. The pink wires on the window switches had power and the yellows had power when I pressed the switch. Any Ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you should have a 20 amp circuit breaker that controls the power seats,windows and door locks located at the starter relay...according to my haynes manual...
it will look like this

Yeah, I have the same problem. My drivers side door lock switch will lock but, not unlock the doors. My window switches on the drivers side work, but nothing on the passanger side works period. I have been to busy to take the switches from the drivers side and see if they work on the pass. side. That way I can rule out faulty switches that can sometimes work and most of the time not.

hey you should let me know if that works cause im having the same problem. where is that relay located?

Is this in the fuse box? If so, I changed it and it didn't work. Any other ideas?

check around the starter relay my manual states there is one of these circuit breakers located under the hood in the area around the starter relay...

There is a small circuit breaker looking thing mounted on the solenoid. Could that be it? I'm lost. I hate to pay someone to fix this for me.

according to the manual it states the location is the starter motor relay which is the solenoid and i believe thats it you may be able to remove solenoid and have it tested...i know autozone tests solenoids but i don't know if that breaker is part of the test but you can take it by there and check.... and can you post pics....

pull the cable thats connected to the power window motor and check to see if it has power there.

you could do the same with the door lock solenoids.

that way you could rule those out. One thing i have found when working with electrical equipment is always check everything and dont assume, cause when you assume then it makes a ass out of u and me or it just takes you another week and $200 to find the problem.
