Could be.. but my old 88 had a random problem of the window going down but not back up, and it turned out to be a weak/worn spot in one of the gears.. it would get stuck down and the motor couldn't push it up back past the worn spot. I'd test out that switch before I went replacing other stuff though..
Just swap the switches around to test them. The locks and the window switches are basically the same, just the plastic locator tab is different. I cut that tab off and used a lock switch as a window switch before.
Try rolling it down to about 1-2" before it goes completely down (stop it before it goes down completely). Then try to roll it up.
Mine does this alot. It's got a flat spot in the gears. If I roll it all the way down I have to tap on the door pannel a little to get it to go back up. But if I leave it up just a tad (just so you can see about 1-2" of glass)... I dont have a problem rolling it back up.
