I am new to this forum and have an 35 th anniversary 99 Mustang convertible v6. I was wondering if anyone has found a way or knows if you can modify both front door windows to go down when you open the door then up after you close it like on the newer generation platform so the top window edge does not tear up or rub the seals when the top meets the glass? I am sure it is possible..............but I would not know how to do it. The newer cars that have this feature have a body control module that controls all of that. The 99-04 Mustang does not have a body control module, so there is no way to communicate with the power windows to perform that function. Could a 99-04 Mustang be retrofitted for a body control module............I suppose, but at what cost in time and materials?

Thanks for replying to my question. I guess I will just have to be careful and like the rest of the older platform owners about the convertible top be careful when i put the top down & up trying to avoid rubbing the seals on the glass.
