I see all of you guys using this on wheels w/o a coating. Has anyone used it on wheels w/ a clearcoat? My wheels get pretty nasty sometimes and I get a little tired of cleaning them all the time. Just wanted to make sure it won't burn the clear. Thanks, Will

I used them on my dad’s factory Ford F-150 rims (04) and they worked great. I've used them on my chrome waffles rims with no problem; you should be fire unless you have a super powerful drill lol.

A standard drill will never be able burn the paint using the power ball... just make sure that the poliosh or product that you use is safe for clearcoats or painted surfaces...

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad to see someone has already tried it and it worked. I won't be using an air drill or anything so i should be ok, lol. I'll probably pick the ball up today and grab some polish that's ok for clear. Thanks a lot, Will

Buy the "mini" Powerball.
The original bigger Powerball is to big IMHO for wheels.

I agree as well. Plus with the mini ball you can get in between the spokes (Should you have any) and get the backside of the wheel.
