So Thursday night my drivers window becomes stuck in the down position... Thursday night I ordered a new window motor, grease, inner door handle, vapor shield(s)... They arrive Saturday night in Houston at 2am. UPS will not let me come pick them up. Wait til Monday.

Get home from work Monday night... parts had arrived, good day.

Tuesday, the new motor went in super super smooth. Installed the new door handle, installed new vapor shield... Changed the oil... good day.

I was worried it would be a pain in the ass.. but from start to finish, maybe an hour including the oil change?

That's all... oh... and my son was a Pirate last night.

Pretty easy eh? Every time ive had that door panel off, I always see the wiper motor and think to my self, man that is gotta be a PITA to get to if it goes out lol. Oh well I have manual windows now so will never have to worry about replacing it

Sounds like good progress, my 91 had devil windows. Didn't roll up for days at a time (couple weeks one time) and then when I had time to fix them, they'd work again.

Keep an eye on that pirate though, looks like a real terror
