Price is right?

I just spoke to a shop in Addison, IL who does mostly Ford tuning. They said they can install my 4.10's and add a SCT chip for about 750. I am supplying the gears though. Does that sound like a decent price?

Sounds high. Don't know how much an SCT chip is though.

my gear install was 400. and its more time consuming w/ my Irs.. speedcal was like 80 bucks.. 500 at the most.. sounds high to me.

Yeah but this includes the SCT chip as well. Basically they told me it would break down as 395 for gear install and 325 for tuning chip. I am supplying the gears which I got for 150.

Gear install price maybe 350$ is fair. Cheap would be 250$. Expensive would be 500+.

I my HP shop here in Dallas is charging $360.00 for 4.10s installed. Thats the gears and the install.
