Primed the stang today...*~(pics)~*

Looks good but why do it 2 times?

because its less work that gets done in piqua..piqua is about an hour and 30 mins from my house...i would only be able to go back on Sundays for 5-8 hours..... i wouldn't get alot done working that long on just Sundays...so the more i get done here the less i have to do up there...im doing the simple things up here to save time when i get it up there.

It looks better, but wouldn;t that make it harder in the long run cause when you get it to piqua or w/e you'll have to sand all the crap you just put on it and waste more time. The way that car sat for awhile a month wouldn't make a huge difference.

the sand blaster makes quick quick work of any paint or primer :)

It also tears the **** out of rust and bondo if you used any.. I would of honestly patched the whole thing up then primered it. Im in the middle of mine and primer and paint is expensive stuff. Im getting ready to shoot the 2k primer this week.. I already have the car sealed but the 2k is the final primer before my paint. My paint is close to 400 a gallon so i want my body work to be good.

Driving without a license? :nono:

:D

Pull the VSS out of the tranny and verify that the teeth of the speedo gear aren't stripped. If that's kosher, reach up under the dash and pull the cable from the cluster, and verify that turning the cable on that end will make the other end turn, as well - that will tell you whether or not the cable, itself, is snapped. If that's all good, then plug the cable back into the speedo and make sure that it seats ALL the way into the cluster - it'll go in a bit at first and stop, and I've always had to spin the other end of the cable around a bit until the squared cable end will line up with its squared hole in the cluster before it'll pop in that last 1/4" or so into the gauge cluster.

i pretty much new it came off the speedo...while driving at 1,000 rpms at like 30mph i could hear it spinning anything faster then that then i couldnt hear...(to much drone) i need so new mufflers...

BS man 3 over??? The least you'll get pulled over for here is 10 over and our cops are pretty damn bored. I don't think it is even good ethics anywhere for a cop to pull someone over for 3 over, there has to be a buffer zone for speedos not being dead on and other little dumb reasons

all they do is give you a warning...if you dont belive me drive by a cop doing 38 in a 35 and see if he dont pull you over just to tell you to watch your speed...if you get officer Cook....goodluck.

took it from a drive tonight...pulled out of the drive way and i have no speedo...i think the cable broke or poped off.

i put a 140 speedo gauge in my cluster a few weeks ago like you did. OMG that was sooooo much harder to do than you let off! atleast putting a 140 speedo gauge out of a 92 in an 87 cluster. i had to trim soo much off both sides of the face and some trimming on the white cluster housing before i could get it to fall into the housing flush. now i have two different turn signal arrows too. :rlaugh: lol everything works PERFECT though. it's nice having a speedometer again.

NORMALLY there's about a 5mph buffer to allow for any speedometer in-accuracies. not all cars have speedometers that have a certified calibration like the police do. not sure which states are like that though.
