I put a professional products 65mm TB on my car and it was crap. Before I put it on it felt like it would stick. Anyway I put it on and the car idled at like 2k rpms, so I set the idle and tps like it says and it went down to 1600 rpms. The idle screw wasn't even touching the throttle. The only thing I noticed is that if I unpluged the IAC it would idle perfect, and the hole in the TB going to the IAC was sucking alot of air. Anyway I took it for a ride and it ran like crap and missed and the throtle stuck once so I took it off.

Was it something I did or are these junk???

I have recently purchased and installed my 70mm TB I had to bump my idle up just a little to keep mine from sticking at idle it has not stuck anywhere else in its operating range. When I say a little I mean like 100rpm if that. Ther are quite a few guys who have had them in the 94-95 section who say the TB sucks there are an equal amount who have not had problems. I agree with ecu5.0 give them a call.

Jeasus do you live in a cave

There have been tons of threads on here about how PP TB's are nothing but junk. One guys was so bad he actually threw it in the trash. There cheap for a reason b/c there garbage. When it comes to modding your car dont take the cheap way out b/c you end up paying more for it b/c now you have a junk TB and will most likley buy a quality TB. So you have spent lets say $150 on the PP one, and if you buy a really good one like an Edelbrock or FMS TB your looking at $200-$250 so now you have a grand total of $340-$400 for a TB. See what happens when we try to take the less expensive route when it comes to modding cars. Unless its a good product thats used and for sale then yeah go for it but brand new products that are cheap are just crap, same way w/ aftermarket body parts.
